I’ve been following the question of “When will Pelosi appoint impeachment managers” for the past few weeks trying to figure out how to game this bet. It’s basically a market that reflects the public’s curiosity for — will the House ever sent the impeachment articles over to the Senate?
There are all sorts of wild theories going around about why Pelosi is holding things up. Some people think they’re on hold until…
— Until USMCA was done
— Until the Dem Debate is done.
— When it doesn’t mess up the Dem Primary
— Until MLK Day Recess.
— Or she’ll never release them at all!
What I finally landed on is that Pelosi will just dump the impeachment articles on a Friday since she is going to get smoked regardless. So I made a beta move on bought 100 shares for this Friday and forgot about it.
Then this happened:
