Some of you have been asking what the future of SSG holds. Will we retire until the next election, as many political gambling platforms before us have?
I’ve thought about that, because maintaining this blog and podcast means I basically never sleep and can barely hold a job in a work environment more competitive than Denny’s.
But I’ve also thought about how much fun it’s been to get to know all of you — truly, thousands of you at this point — and to live right on the cutting edge of political insight and cultural discourse.
As someone who has worked at a high level in politics, I can say without hesitation that the amount of thought that the average political gamblers puts into what is happening far exceeds that of a full-time, salaried political operative. PredictIt players just do it better.
So really, at the end of the day, the question of, “Keendawg, will the show go on?” is not even a question at all.
Not only will Star Spangled Gamblers continue, but it will move harder and faster than ever before.
The question is — what do you want, Animals?
Because of your word-of-mouth support, we’ve accumulated an audience that is big enough to support 1 podcast a week and all the associated fees of maintaining a blog, website, etc. Believe it or not, the cost of doing that is in the thousands of dollars per year, so you’ve really stepped-up and we appreciate it. Now, for the next evolution of SSG, we are contemplating some new features and want to hear from you about what you’d like to have the most. They include:

- Nightly round-ups of the news cycle to be distributed as pods and YouTube videos.

- Webinars about novice, intermediate, and advanced political gambling strategies.

So let’s do it. Let’s change the world by being true, having fun, and crushing those betting lines because we see it straight and call it that way too. Let’s do all of that together.
