Will Nancy Pelosi be the Speaker in 2021?

This week the Democrats will choose Nancy Pelosi to be Speaker of the House.
There is no situation where this will not happen. Had the Dems outright lost their majority, she would be done. But they are still in control and there is no serious opposition to her retaining the Speaker’s gavel. The real question about Pelosi’s career is whether or not she will run for another term following this one.
As Politico reported about the Democrat Speaker of the House race:
“Meanwhile Pelosi’s only potential challenger, [Hakeem] Jeffries, made clear he has no interest in the job this term. Often mentioned as a possible Pelosi heir, Jeffries took himself out of the running as he declared another bid for caucus chair on Monday. The move essentially guarantees the top tier of leadership — Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn — a glidepath to another term atop the House.”
Savage move by Pelosi to buy her only challenger off with a promotion to a slightly lower office.
Meanwhile, a possible rival, Democratic Caucus Chair Rep. Cheri Bustos, has stepped down from Leadership as the fall-woman for the House Dems’ horrible performance this election cycle. And Pelosi’s contemporaries Steny Hoyer and James Clyburn have already been passed over many times in the last 15 years.
This one is 100 percent done. Nancy Pelosi is the GOAT.
