In the NEWS, Donald Trump’s inner circle says he’ll be announcing a presidential campaign by Labor Day.
But we’ve heard this before. MANY times before.
Are you buying the hype? Or is this just foreplay from the President, trying to stay in the spotlight and apply political pressure to his enemies who are currently seeking to indict him Georgia, New York, and at the federal level??
- Trump is telegraphing that he’s interested in running. But when will he decide?
- According to SSG’s Pratik Chougule, “The markets are over-reacting, not necessarily on the possibility of Trump announcing, but announcing in the near future.”
- The reason why: campaign finance laws muddy the decision for Trump, especially with regard to how he can spend his campaign’s monetary funds .
- The rules very for official candidates vs. out of office pols (his current state), which makes timing, fundraising, and money management a big issue for Trump
This question is leading to litigation from Democratic Party aligned groups that may force Trump’s hand.
Ultimately, the question of whether or not Trump will run for president again is very complicated if you believe the answer is NO, but astoundingly simple if you think it’s YES. He’s a vengeful guy, love the spotlight, and needs it to continue to suck money out of his supporters’ wallets.
How will things actually play out? And when is he most likely to announce?
Listen to the full podcast for that. There’s good reason to think Trump will do any number of things, including hanging up his spurs for good.
